Actual Music are delighted to announce a new partnership with The Grand at Clitheroe.

From September onwards, we will be resident at The Grand Studio, a purpose-built studio space with two live rooms and a control room featuring an SSL AWS900 console alongside ATC, PMC and Dynaudio monitoring.

The studio features prized outboard processors such as the Manley Voxbox, Neve 1081 channel strips, Lexicon 480 L Reverb and Avalon Compressors & EQs; alongside a mic locker populated by Neumann, Electro Voice, Royer and Shure (amongst others).

The studio, based in the heartlands of Lancashire, is ideal for recording projects across all genres including rock, folk, pop, jazz and electronic music. Utilising the two live rooms and dedicated control room, the studio can cater for full live recording of most ensemble sizes and retain sufficient isolation.

The control room is an ideal mix space for clients wanting to work in an ‘outside the box’ workflow on a range of projects – from acoustic recordings and EDM tracks, to film and TV compositions. Clients can work on the twenty-four channel SSL console in an acoustically optimised room. Monitoring options include nearfield Dynaudios, industry-leading ATC SCM25a mid-fields and PMC mains.

The recording setup is an industry-standard Pro Tools HD system with three Avid 192 I/Os running on a Mac Pro.
